Meet Mr. Webber

My teaching journey:

I have been teaching at the Kindergarten Academy (KA) for 7 years. My teaching style incorporates lots of movement, music, and technology. My journey in education began in high school when I took on on several different special education internships and volunteered at many Special Olympics events. I attended Messiah University where I served as an RA for two years and taught English in southeast Asia. I completed my student teaching experience right here at the KA. I graduated in 2017 with a degree in Elementary & Special Education and I've teaching at the KA ever since. Beyond kindergarten, I enjoy serving at parks and nature centers because wildlife education is one of my passons. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Shippensburg University.

Personal information:

I am originally from Newville, PA. I have three siblings including two older brothers and one sister. I married my wife, Mrs. Webber, in 2020. We have a dog named Winston. He is a Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling, playing sports, spending time outside, and cooking with Mrs. Webber. My favorite football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers who I've cheered for all my life. Below you can watch a photo slideshow that shows some of my recent adventures.
