What is Seesaw?

It's a digital platform where students can showcase their learning. Students use different tools to take pictures, draw, and record videos to show what they know and complete activities. Seesaw helps us stay connected with each other and it keeps you updated on what we're doing in kindergarten.

How does the Giraffe Class use Seesaw?

Our mission is to use Seesaw to demonstrate our skills, record our growth, and strengthen home-to-school connections. We do this by:

  • Taking pictures and videos of what we're learning
  • Recording ourselves reading, writing, counting, and performing other skills
  • Completing virtual activities
  • Giving feedback on student work
  • Sharing important class information
  • Sharing the Giraffe Journal--our class newsletter

How do I sign-up?
  1. Download the Seesaw Family App (it's free!).
  2. Scan the code on the Seesaw invitation letter that I give you. (see sample invitation letter below)
  3. If you don't have this letter, contact me at [email protected] and give me your email address. I'll send an electronic invite to your email.
