I am so excited to be here at the Kindergarten Academy for the 2023-2024 school year! This is my 33rd year in public education. I started my career teaching 1st and 2nd grade in a neighboring district, then came to Mechanicsburg in 2007. Since then I have worked with teachers across the district as an Instructional Coach. After all those years learning with and from our amazing teachers, I jumped at the opportunity to come back to where my heart has always been - in a classroom with students! I am looking forward to building a fun learning community where our youngest Wildcats can play, learn, and grow!

 

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family. My husband, Mike, and I have two sons who are MASH grads, Joe (Class of 2008) and Nick (Class of 2009). Joe and his wife, Jenna, live in Dover and are the parents of Oliver and Zayda - the joys of my life! Nick is in the US Space Force and lives in Colorado Springs, CO. 

 

In my spare time I like to hike, go for walks, read, do crossword puzzles, and feed the birds in our backyard.
